Playmates Customs?

I'd like to see if anyone has made any customs from the Playmates dolls. Either characters that were never made in the smaller dolls or larger dolls of the other 2 characters that were made as small dolls. Or even larger dolls of characters that were never made even as small dolls. Or even Gen 1 characters as modern dolls. Or anything else made from the newer dolls. Thanks.

I made a new variation of Moonglo using the colors of the new dolls as a 10'' dress up doll.

I also made a Wajah doll in 10'' like tom-sprites

I'm making a 10'' rainbow lurky

I've also made 18'' Stormy dolls, as well as Buddy Blue, Indigo & Moonglo

I would attach pictures, but I lost them all when my computer crashed, but they are on the forum

I'm actually going to post the wajah doll for sale & probably the rainbow haired 10'' rb doll once I get her dress done.

While one of the new style characters made out of one of the original dolls is cute it isn't what I meant. I was asking about customs made using the new dolls Playmates had put out. They had only made Rainbow, Moonglow, and Tickled Pink as 10in fashion dolls. They never did Stormy or the Color Kids or anyone else in that size. They also had done a 15in doll of Rainbow but never even did Moonglow or Tickled Pink much less anyone else. The line was so small I was hoping maybe some clever customizers stepped up to the plate to expand the line.

oh i see! well, maybe once they are a little cheaper to get more of them, I will have a go at them all, that would be some fun!!! I like them with the vinyl hair & it would be cute.

working on getting some of the new dolls to make the rest of the color kids!!! ebay is too expensive & I can't find them at my target anymore.

If anyone is interested in getting a few dolls for me & trading for a custom of your choosing? let me know. I'd like to try to do it for two people, I like to trade!!!

Also check Toys R Us. The one near me still has a few of the large ones but I don't have room for large dolls I just like to look at them. Tho if I did get one and rehair it with yarn would there be a demand for that?

eagerly waiting for the dolls! I think first will be an attempt at a stormy doll. or course.

although since you sparked my interest in the first place, which color kid would you be interested in seeing first? Or ideas?

I will probably give la la & canary longer hair though, we'll see. either that or I was thinking a cut bubble cutt.

anyone have any ideas I'm open for ideas!!!
