life-size rainbow brite

Post by Tom-sprite »

Hi guys ! ^^

Today a idea came to my mind.

I recalled my complementary work for the school of arts I passed.
Therefore I ve drawn 6 life-size comic/manga characters in order to create the effect of an art-installation.
The various figures were all carefully cut out and displayed on white wall ...

It was so much fun and I loved the result ...I remember that the visitors of the final exhibition were very interested and enjoyed the visuell effect.

So why shouldn t I work out a life-size rainbow brite ... every other character would be possible too but I think I would start with rainbow.

I think I need two big white solid drawing cardboards ... some markers and a lot of colours ! :-D

What do you guys think about such a wall-decoration ? :-D

Interesting!

I wonder if any of our custom doll makers on the forum have ever considered making a "life size" RB doll? Perhaps out of one of the Barbie models?

Glad you too like the idea ... I will shop some art-material on Monday and will definitely work out a drawn and cut out life-size rainbow.
I will take photos when I ve finished this project ! ^^

A life size rainbow brite dolly would be very interesting too but I personally haven t got so much space .. if any custome-creator would ever do such a thing I would love to see it anyway !

I finished the custom cover+text for story tape project vol 1 now ...

I look forward to start with my life-size Wisp this evening ...
have to eat something first but later I will draw her.

I got all the material I wanted for this project ... even some
little colourful deco-glass-stars which I can use as color-crystals ! :bg:

It was so annoying for me to search for my favourite black marker today ... I scanned the whole city for one little marker and the weather was very bad today ! :-)))))
