I bought three old and incomplete RB-dolls on ebay today.
Fortunately I found some suitable dolls after all ...
One auction...three junk dolls.
(when I find a suitable twink-junk sprite soon(I need such a junk-sprite for my Orin-costum-sprite) I have all the basic models I need for my handicraft-projects !)

An Indigo doll without clothes:
I will transform her into a Wajah !

a Tickled pink doll without clothes:
I will tranform her into a Mrs Dismal !

a worn out Buddy Blue doll:
I will transform him into a Brian !

The first project will be Wajah because I think he is a funny and cute minor char.
I will remove the hair of the Indigo doll completely....redye her complete body and will airbrush her face so that the doll s skin then looks like alien-skin ! :-D
After that I will redesign the face...paint a wide frog-ish mouth which is most important...will add some big ears out of airbrushed cellular rubber (I will paste them over the original ears) ... the eyes also need a drastic redesign ! :-))))
After that I will tinker his clothes and his cap ... I will use cellular rubber,felting etc.

Oh I SOOOO can't wait to see these!!!! :D :D :D

Can't wait to see how you turn the dolls into the characters. Then you truly will have some unique customs!

I think Wajah will be quite challenging but it would be fantastic to have such an unique custom dolly !

Creating custom dolls seems to be quite addicting.

The materials for Wajah are fixed ...

Mrs Dismal is a little more tricky because she has that murky-ish nose ( :-))))) )
... I think I will form her nose out of "Fimo classic" (skincolour)
and will attach the still smooth special-modelling-clay over the original doll-nose
... this way I ll get a good starting point when I later stick on the big oval nose
... before I stick on the nose I ll have to harden the Fimo in an oven.
I think I will form various noses so that I can select the one that looks best
when I apply it onto the junk-doll s face.
I guess it will be fun to create glasses for her ... I will use my overhead transparency
again for the lenses ...
her dress needs to be stuffed with cotton wool so that she looks well-rounded ! ;-)

I found an old worn out jeans ... the fabric would be suitable for sewing little trousers
for Brian ...

I bought some art-materials I will use for Wajah today.
Felting,cellular rubber... etc.
I really look forward to redesigning the junk dolls face ... this will be great fun I guess ! :-)))))))))))

I must say that I love your dolls! I love how the the Dark Princess has all her accessories, and Krys is just, awesome!
