Unfortunately I have nothing to add tonight as I'm in more of an admiring instead of creating mood. It usually leaves me more inspired for my next project.

Here it is, the Rainbow Brite/Rainbow Sherbert costume mix up. I had fun doing this one. I also decided to see how much I could emulate the facial style of the second generation SSC cartoon.



9 pages already. Looks like this gallery is almost finished. For the time being, no more requests. I have plans for a series of pictures to end this gallery with. If you like the idea of cute pics with Rainbow Brite and Strawberry Shortcake together, please look forward to it.

Thanks Tom. The left chara is Rainbow Sherbert and that expression is one she has in most of the pics I have of her, so it just seemed natural to use.

Thanks Tom. I drew all six of the girls from the new Strawberry Shortcake, using a colouring book as reference so I could get their likenesses right. All six are in my blog at the moment. I wasn't planning on posting them here, originally, but I could just do that.

I've always found it difficult trying to capture other styles in my art. It's always been more like taking elements of others and adding them to my own. This is the closest I've ever gotten to recapturing a particular style and it's very exciting. ^^

As for the Rainbow and Strawberry pics I was planning. I did the first and it didn't turn out as well as I expected. I'm trying to top everything I've done with those, so it may take time for me to finish them.
