Fan Created Color Kids by Patreek

I loved Rainbow Brite growing up as a child. These are some of the color kid fan characters i've created:

From Left to Right:
Mary Gold, Silver Belle, Liam Green, Dayglo, Tyler Teal or Tyler Turquoise

Still to come: Blake Black, Bobby Brown, Wendy White, Gretta Grey, Rosa, Maggie Magenta.

I'm not really happy with how dayglo turned out, I will probably redesign him. The idea with him was that he was the daytime person like moonglo, so I tried to base his getup off hers ... but then also my idea was that dayglow also means neon so he puts "light" into colors to make them glow.. so he's both the person that does that and lights the day. Right now his design just isnt' working for me though.

Ok here is my second take at Dayglow.... the problem is I don't want him to look too much like "a yellow color kid"

Your colour-kid creations are very creative and cool ! :-D

Beside dayglo I like the idea of silver and gold colour kid most.

But actually all of your ideas are clever and interesting ... :-D

The second version of dayglo is more neon and less pastel
...I like the neon look and I personally think he does not look like a yellow colour-kid !

Thanks Tom. I'm currently working on Tyler Teal. I'd like him to be native american and have his outfit show that a bit more so I'm reworking it a bit. After that maybe I'll work on Silver Belle and Mary Gold.
