Hey fellow RB friends,


I recently used 'buy it now' to purchase a 12 inch Champ Sprite doll. I'm so excited because blue is my favorite color and Champ will go great in my collection. Just wanted to tell you all :-)



Does anyone else have Champ?



ONE more question: What year did they put out the sprites at Taco Bell?

Hey congrats! I have the taco bell one that "talks". I don't know off hand what year those came out, I have to go find mine and see what the tag says

I have the 12" champ sprite doll too. (I have all the girl and boy sprites)

The Taco Bell sprites have the year 1983 on the tag and the tush tag but I'm not 100% sure if that's the year they were actually released in Taco Bell.

Probably not...isn't 1983 the year stamped onto pretty much all the merch?

Thank you for the congrats! My favorite colors are blue, purple and yellow. And I think I got a good deal on Champ. :-)

1983 is stamped or printed on almost everything in the first three releases. The reason for this is that's the year that Hallmark first copyrighted the design and the name of Rainbow Brite and her family.
