Hello people,
I just wanted to share with you that Jazzy is making me a Patty O'Green dress up doll for $120. I will make payments on it til I get it paid for then she'll send it to me :-) Cool, huh?
I'm afraid of my finances though, I might have to move back in with parents... I got 2 letters from my landlord saying they are evicting me for being 2 days late on rent payment!!! Mum and I will go talk to her tomorrow. She avoids my emails, and when she was at the apartment complex, I was going to approach her and she walked away.... plus, she upped my rent from $164 to $181 !!! So that hinders me being able to buy Patty sooner. But I'm sure my landlord will let me stay a bit longer. But I'm not telling her this - I'm looking for a different place to live. (Now I live in apartments for 'developmentally disabled' people, and they gossip a lot and my neighbours just aren't good people, so I'll be happy to leave). My income will go down by $200 too.
Sorry for talking about that, it just came out when talking about money.
Okay I'll go now before I sit here and type the night away lol
Take care guys!

Your landlady sounds like a bit of a jerk. What does your rental contract say? I doubt she can just arbitrarily increase the amount if you're locked into a particular rate of lease. I hope you get everything figured out. I must admit that I stared at my computer for about 5 minutes, dreaming about rent that cheap...alexanderbrite wrote:she upped my rent from $164 to $181 !!!
Back when I was still living in Philadelphia, I was paying $1200/month in rent for a tiny 1 bedroom apartment on the 13th floor of a building in a mediocre part of the city. Thank goodness the Midwest is a lot cheaper. My boyfriend lives in NYC and keeps asking me to move there. My share of rent on his house would be about $1600/mo! And then he wonders why I refuse to move. Of course, Long Island is also one of the few places in the USA where a real estate agent will tell you that purchasing a $650,000 house is "cheap."

I live in an apartment complex for developmentally disabled people. IF I'm not mistaking Jannie (landlady) has my rent to go up based on my income and on how much annually i pay for mediciines (my whole breakfast is pills, it's nuts!). Plus mum just helped me pay off a loan.
When we get heating assistance for our apartments, rent can go down to almost $150 . BUt then again, i don't get much income. it pays bills, medicines, groceries when my food card is run out, etc. Right now I have $10 in my checks account.
The reason I live where i do is because i have a mental illness. I don't want to talk about it here publicly because I've seen people on this forum tell me not to talk about certain things so I'll be quiet.
thank you for replying :-)
