I'm pretty sure this is the first MIB hard body Starlite I've seen on Ebay since I bought mine back in 2000. I was very pleased to see that its value has almost tripled in 11 years! Did any of you win him? Here's the link:

I wish I could say that it was me, but not this time. I was bidding but not that high. That is the last large (MIB or Loose) Gen 1 item that I do not have. I'm still missing a few European figurines and Stick-On Sprites.
The bidder said she would ship internationally and to contact her for rates. She choose USA as her default and by doing that made it impossible for anyone outside of the USA to contact her! I was lucky that someone else was able to bid on it for me.
That was for nearly 60% more than my MIB Brazil doll!!!

.
I'm wondering if the price that went for might incite a few other collectors to cash in in their investments in the near future...

It certainly could, but I don't know anyone else who owns one.Blondine Arc-En-Ciel wrote:.

I watched but couldn't bid because it went so high.

Oh, holy wow. And that's the last piece I need to finish my doll collection.
Good thing I collect unboxed, but jeez.
Wow.

I also collect unboxed . I like them unboxed so I can hold them and display with sprites. With anime dolls, I often save the boxes. I like your Supergirl avatar.BabyDoll wrote:Oh, holy wow. And that's the last piece I need to finish my doll collection.

Thanks!
I've always collected things unboxed, because I just don't have the space and I love playing with my dolls too much. It may be a cardinal sin, but I bought a Sunriser boxed and promptly opened it up.
