Hi,

thanks for the pics of the shoes - I guess, I own the real ones then.

I think your collection is very nice (and I´m a little bit jealous for what excellent conditions the items are in :))

@ Buddy Blue :

I d love to have the original boots !!! So I think I am a little bit jealous too ! :-D

I have to admit that some of my items are quite intensily pimped ....
not every doll or sprite was in a acceptable condition when it arrived (ebay) ...
there are a lot of tricks you can use to make the dolls look better ...

First thing one can do is to organize the hair (to get it in shape you can use aluminium foil [ good for the fringe ] ... if necessary keep the foil on the dolls head for 1-2 days ...
fuzzy ends of the fleecy hair can be carefully cut ( good nail-scissors )...
the face can be cleaned with the softer side of a sponge and some water ... after you ve done that one can notice a big difference ...
If there should be partial colour-corrasion ... it can be repaired with some acrylic paint [ I can only recommend to do this for people who want to keep their dolls as collector s dolls ... this is not appropriate if someone wants to play with the dolls )
demolished parts of cloth can be easily repaired with some goods from a art-materials-shop(cellular rubber, cheap felting, metallic shiny carton and so forth ... )

So that's your secret, lol!

Your dolls look like they came straight out of the box, they are very well-kept.

I cleaned my starlite today ...
I wanted the horse to be brightly white so I deliberated what I could do to improve the condition ...

1. I covered the fleecy hair with kitchenfoil
2. I prepaired a dish with some water-diluted "Vanish oxi-action"-carpet-cleaner
3. I absorbed the fluid with a soft sponge and started to rub it in the short fur of starlite
I did not make the fur too wet ... only damped and made sure to distribute the cleanser
consistent
4.Then I used accelerated drying with the help of a heater
5.When the fur was dry I rubbed it into the right direction so that it got that velvet look again ...
finished

I can totally recommend this procedure to everyone who wants to boost the white colour of starlite !
Please make sure that your cleanser is suitable for the fur of starlite and that the cleanser also does not cause stains !

I made some more decorations 4 the poster ...
therefore I used silver glitter-gel-glue,little Svarovsky-stones,little glass-flowers and hearts etc.
had to be very careful not to destroy the shiny surface of the poster ... ;-)
