Hi, I just started collecting a few weeks ago and I already got a Moonglow, but without the ribbon and also the moon is missing from her belt, but that´s fine with me, ´cause I can´t spent too much money on the collection.
How do I know if her shoes are original?

Hi Buddy Blue ! :-)
When you buy an item for example on ebay I think you can never be 100 % sure whether all is original or not ...
but one can compare the shopped item with good pictures of a original moonie.
Her original shoes have striking vertical stiches ... and the colour of the cloth is somehow very unique.
The shape of the boots is a little sack-like.
My moonglow did not come with her original boots and also she had no ribbon and the moon was half demolished ... it was fun for me to repair this all ...my moonie is not 100 % original but I don t care ... I love her ...
I add 2 pics which show original moonie boots.

I want to show you all items of my rainbow-brite-toys-collection.
It is absolutely no complete collection and not everything is 100 % original in detail but I
love to take care of this toys so so much ! :-D
( I also have complete TV-episodes and German story-tapes,a lot of comics and a complete stickers collector s album)

I love all items but my favourites are:
my Regina Regenbogen doll (rainbow) ...
because she is in perfect condition
my Sandra Silbermond doll (moonglo) ...
because it was great fun to repair her flaws
my Grummel Griesgram doll (Murky) ...
because I made white lightnings for him out of white cellular rubber
my Viola Veilchenscheu doll (shy violet) ...
because she is my favourite character of all

...my favourite sprite is my small white sprite...

I have one squeaking (red) Tacco-bell sprite

I have only some of the hand-sprites but .... uhmmm ... I do not really care cause the bigger ones are cuter ! ;-)
I have a puppy brite because I love dogs more then cats ... so I do not have a kitty-brite ! ;-)

Maybe I ll add some rare items to my collection in the future but it is also a matter of
space ! ;-)
I will now post some photos of my toys ...
