I think you'll find that opinions on this are split, and that not many on here care for the spoofs done by Robot Chicken. Granted, they are funny and of course, RC makes fun of everything. They did at least to attempt to get some of the background and character designs correct for the one with Murky and Lurky. The other two spoofs they've done were just whatever they wanted I think. The one merely spoofed Wisp's following the ball of light and the other one, I'm not sure what they had in mind except to bring about the topic of interracial dating and how colorful it can be.

Personally, I think there are better spoofs of Rainbow Brite done. The one done by the Soup on the live action Rainbow Brite movie was quite good, and I really enjoy the one entitled Rainbow Brite: The True Saturday Morning Story. Within that one you also get spoofs of other 80's icons, such as Thunder Cats, Strawberry Shortcake, Scooby Doo, Mario, etc.

In the end, Robot Chicken is all right, but theirs seems to be more for the shock factor of how they can twist a cartoon.

The skit about Rainbow and interracial dating was part of a larger skit about what happens to girl's toys when girls stop playing with them. They also had Jem, Strawberry Shortcake, Sailor Moon, the female Ninja Turtle from the live action show, and a few others that I can't remember.

I actually thought they were quite hilarious myself. Especially the Sphere of Light one. XD

But I don't recall seeing a skit about Murky and Lurky. I must see this!
