As for the question, if one were to go by the non-aging theory and say that the characters do indeed age and grow older as time passes, then I would have to say, why should Rainbow have to marry anyone? I think she's better off single, taking care of the things she loves best. Besides, why do characters have to always end up married off in the end?

I agree. Rainbow Brite is the independent type. I can't see her settling done. The little banter between her and krys is cute, but to me Rainbow never seemed like she was really into him

True, maybe not settle down but surely she could have a sweetheart or something...not sure who will best for her tho...maybe neither of those, more chance that it could be someone from out of town maybe.

Yes, if one were to age Rainbow, the sweetheart thing seems better, or at least a really close male companion. I really don't think there'd be much chemistry between the boys posted though. If anything, she showed more emotion toward Brian, but that could have been part of her nature.

I'll add another "Why should Rainbow have to marry?" into the mix. I don't see anything wrong with her having a love interest however. Whoever he or she would be is left up to question. I don't agree with the three choices given.

To be honest, I always thought Brian was a likely choice, but there are other possibilities that I find much more interesting.

I am a fan of the theory that rainbow and her friends are magically not growing in rainbowland
and in perpetuity bring colour and joy to the universe !

... mhh ... but when I ignore this theory I would see rainbow as a adolescent woman together with Brian .. I think she likes him a lot ! ;-)
..and she is a terrestrial too ... could fit ...

Other possible couples of "adult" colour kids : Red butler and Lala Orange, Buddy Blue and Patty o green,Moonglo and Sven( ;-) ),Dayglo and Canary yellow ! :-)))))

You should totally draw a wedding scene between Rainbow Brite and a male of your choice. Stormy and Moonglow can be brides maides.

If Rainbow were to be into anyone I would have to say Krys. At least if we go by the pretense hinted at in the original show (which is the only one I'll really go by, since the new stuff seems practically AU). Sure she likes Brian but he'd eventually grow up and become a normal human guy. Krys, on the other hand, kind of lives in a somewhat similar world as Rainbow and would be more apt to be able to be with her.

But I probably shouldn't be looking at this so realistically, huh? lol

XD I don't think it matters so much. One would have to wonder first how Rainbow was exposed to the idea of a wedding and wanting one first.
