All I had were a 10" RB, a 10" Red Butler, Romeo Sprite and a knock-off Starlite. But I still have them!

My memory's a little rusty on some of the stuff I had.

I remember having several versions of Rainbow Brite. the original and one in a shiny, kinda prismic looking dress which I think were the 10' versions and a bigger Rainbow. Shy Violet in the 10' size as well as Twink, Starlite (plush), and Lurky.

I also remember having some colouring books, story books, and have vague memories of a cardbaord diorama of Rainbowland.

I also had the Peril In The Pits and Monstromurk episodes on CED.

I had a "dress-up rainbow-doll"(my first rainbow-brite toy) ... I idolized her ...
At the moment I havent got such a dress up rainbow in my collection but I want to buy one in the future ... (my original one was sold at some flea-market ( stupid me )
I even brought her to school in grade one when all mates were asked to bring along
their favourite toy ! :-)))))))))))
Nobody provoked me but I felt very insecure about showing my rainbow as my favourite doll ....cause I am male ...
some months later I also had a big "Twink" ... a big blue Sprite ... a small red hat-sprite ... a Buddy Blue doll and a Lurky ...
thats it !
I often played with those toys ... friends of me had shy violet and patty ( and some other sprites ) ... together we had a blast ! :-D

As a kid, nothing I wasn't born yet when it first came out and i was never into it when I was little either :D

I was a child after the 80's, but I still had Rainbow Brite toys. (I think I still have them all.)


I had a bigger Rainbow Brite and Patty O'Green, as well as a Starlite without a star on the forehead. (Knockoff?) I also had various larger Sprites.

I had like 2 of the 10 inch RB dolls. I also had a few RB purses, the bed sheets, the hard cover books, and a lot of RB clothes

I had 18" Rainbow Brite, Puppy Brite and Hatful Champ. That's it for the toys, I had other odds and ends like a play phone, night gowns, charms, books, comforter, coloring books and stuff like that.


I can remember when I was little I kept borrowing a Rainbow Brite book from our school library. I loved that book and I guess I checked it out so often that mom bought me the same book for Christmas. I still have that book and my toys.



I would like to see the knock off Starlite.

I got it for my 5th birthday in 1984 Then I got Romeo Sprite for Christmas that year. Teehee!!
