Well, I suppose they figured it was time for an update to the costume... at any rate, Rainbow Brite isn't the only childhood thing companies have taken and made sexy versions of. Just looking at the particular site shows Alice in Wonderland, Show White, and Ghostbusters.

wow. could they make it look any more like a hooker costume please? i dont like the new one at all. its way too revealing and slutty. the other one is a little better. i even saw the older one today at johnny brocks for kids. along with a adult size patty o' green costume. which is basically the old rainbow brite costume only all green.

All the slutty RB costumes are sold out, according to that page. Ick!

I have seen a sexy 1980 Blueberry Muffin as well, People should not do this to childhood things.





(I do have to admit, I got a sexy knock-off Tinkerbell a few years ago and sewed it up to make it more covering as I was between kid and adult sizes at the time)

The original costume is still for sale, there are just now two versions of it. In fact, the first version is the only one I've ever seen in shops. I went costume hunting just this past weekend and I saw it.

But oh, I promised myself that if I ever get the body for it I would totally be a sexy RB for Halloween. I'm going to have to work really hard to make sure I achieve that by next year! ^_^

that's just yucky, they shouldn't do that to innocent kids characters. Just makes me wanna set it on fire. No wait a better idea, just sew more parts onto it so its not sexy. That is if I could sew....
