Woooooooooow. Granted, I was tempted to dye the cat I used to have to look like Kitty Brite...but don't think I ever would've actually done it!

Certainly very bright! I've never seen someone dye their pet like that, though I've seen the stuff people do to cats to make them look colorful

Aw, come on. Why feel bad for the dogs? They're colour blind, anyway, it's not like they or any other dog are going to realize what's happened :p I'm sure the process of being dyed isn't any more traumatic than getting a good grooming.

How do you dye a pet's fur safely to look like SSC Pupcake and Custard?

There's certainly a way. There's plenty of cat images online where they've been decorated to look like various things. A google search might yield some light

You gotta be careful with most of those cat images, since there is that series of books of 'decorated' cats that's all photoshop.

I imagine food colouring would be the safest thing to try, but I've never done anything like that, so I wouldn't really know.

I'd say the hardest part is getting the animal to stay still. Unless the animal's really docile with being handled and would stay still, it wouldn't go over very well...it'd look more like a curious preschooler painting their dog XD
