LOL! That's a great find. I never seen that and I never knew she was in the Macy's parade back then.

Am I the only one that finds the giant Rainbow Brite creepy? Seriously, she creeps me out @_@ And those two standing by her look more like Power Rangers than Colour Kids >.< Oh well... It'd be awesome to have a giant Rainbow balloon.
"I hope you know what you're doing, Rainbow."
"You still doubt me, after all this time?"
"I don't doubt," Krys said as he paused at the door. "I worry."

XD No you aren't the only one Fan! Giant Rainbow creeps me out too... and Twink as well. Those Color Kids are strange too, but kids probably loved it, no matter how lame we think it is... I remember when I was little and the Red and Pink Ranger came to McDonald's...that was like the highlight of my year! It didn't matter that they weren't real or didn't talk... I still thought it was the "real" Ranger under there

Hehehe. That reminds me of when I got to meet Alice from Alice in Wonderland at Tokyo Disney. As a kid, I didn't even notice that the woman was Japanese - to me, it was Alice, and she was awesome.
But she didn't have a giant foam head.
Oh well. Things like that always creeped me out as a little kid, anyway. Like there was one attraction at the Tokyo Disney, that's basically a theater with mechanical..bears, I think it was? along the walls on either side that are commenting about what's going on on stage, or something like that.. They were talking in Japanese, so I didn't get it anyway @_@ But, they freaked me out when I was five.

So I take it nobody here has ever seen Rainbow Brite at the San Diego Zoo, or Rainbow Brite's Birthday party?
Both of them are live-action instead of cartoon and feature that body-suit costume. >_<
Here's a review of one of them... http://www.x-entertainment.com/articles/0677/
