Here is Alix, my girlfriend's 4 year old grand daughter. She loves Blondine, as does Brigitte, her mom. Alix has a small Rainbow Brite collection. She also has a full RB costume but I think she's outgrown it by now.

I saw a 1983 10" Rainbow Brite doll warring 10" Red Buttler's clothing, tied to a string around the waiste, and hung from someone rear-view mirror of a small light tanish car. I don't know if that was disturbing or just plain cute. Didn't have a camera, so I don't have a pic of it.

Thanks for the comments. I really like the the sense of motion in several of the photos and was glad that I could capture it. Her birthday is December 1st followed by Saint Nicolas Day on the 6th and then Xmas. I think she'll be getting some Rainbow Brite stuff for each event. She already has a Gen 1 RB doll (as does her mom). Both were boxed when presented but hers didn't stay in the box for very long after she unwrapped it. She also has two of the big Gen 3 RB cuddle pillows and other odds and ends.

I've seen any number of oddly dressed RB dolls on ebay but I think that one of mine takes the prize. It was a Gen 2 RB doll wearing a Gen 1 RB dress.
