....When is Hallmark going to actually take advantage of the Rainbow Brite universe? I'm much newer to the fan-base than most here I'd imagine. The last few years anyhow...and I've been told how much Hallmark has flubbed with this....after the last re-release I have to say I can truly see it now. I really think they could have done something with this...I wasn't a big fan of the new look but Rainbow Brite in general has such potential to be huge again and they just.don't. bother. WHY? Thoughts?

This has been said in a number of recent threads, but Hallmark is mostly a greeting card company. They simply don't have the knowledge or ambition to deal with properly marketing the license.


Personally, I wish they'd come out with another line of greeting cards. I've seen some old-school SSC cards at the store recently and they were so cute that I was tempted to buy one!

Hasbro and American Greetings are really doing great with SSC right now!
