I emailed Hallmark about the horses and got some additional info about when they (and the other dolls) will be showing up at Toys R Us:

1) Toys R Us will begin selling Rainbow Brite once they’ve
reset their planogram for Spring, which we’ve anticipated will be at
the beginning to middle of February (so about now!), but this may
differ slightly from location to location.

2) Target did not order the horses, but both Meijer and Toys R
Us did. Right now you can find the horses at Meijer and once Toys R
Us sets Spring, you will find them there too. We don’t know yet if
Target is going to take the horses.

Yay!! I'll be stopping by TRU tomorrow to see if anything has shown up yet or ask if they know when they will. Wish me luck!

Thanks for the info, Katy! I wonder if they will show up on TRU.com as well since the Madame Alexander dolls did.

I can't wait for everything to get to TRU. The Target over here by my house doesn't have any of the dolls.

Awesome news! And that they only won't be at Meijer's. I hope that Shimmer will be part of the crew this time I'll have to be patrolling the Toys R Us stores around here until they show up!

If I get a chance to I will check my toys r us. In Canada we don't have Target sadly which is much better than wal-mart IMO

I stopped by my nearest TRU this morning and they said they're just getting started resetting the planogram for spring. Apparently the process takes a few weeks and new girls items are some of the last items to be put out. Boo! But hopefully in a couple of weeks they'll start showing up. I'll be calling around that time to check in (if I haven't stopped by again already). The suspense is killing me! lol

You'll have to tell us if they arrive in bilingual packaging. Marie-Louise and Shirley plus Alix and Brigitte would all go for that in a big way!

Because it s quite cheap to buy from england ... delivery charges are low and the conversion rate is great at the moment ! ^^

But they would not have the packaging printed in English and French... in the UK.

The only place you would need that is Canada.

It would be so cool if Marie-Louise and her mom could read all about Rainbow Brite in their own language. The same with Alix and her mom.
