Oh, I dunno. He made a space ship out of almost nothing, and it seemed to do the job so long as Lurky didn't break anything @_@ Lurky seems to be his downfall a lot of the time. That, and, well, he's the badguy so he has to fail. He always struck me as one of those evil geniuses that were right on the brink of getting what they want.
