Let's say you were able to choose the storyline for a new Rainbow Brite book for children. You can choose to either use the 2009 RB or the original one. What story would you love to see published for kids starring our favorite protector of color? Or hey, even one of the Color Kids or Special Kids.
I do think it'd be interesting to have a set of RB books specifically for color. She's in charge of spreading color. The show was geared to a younger set; why not also include the preschoolers/kindergarteners. Actually, kindergarten is in the 5-7 yr range, but still. One book would be red, another yellow, etc. You could even have the Color Kid in charge of that color narrate the book. They could talk about themselves as an intro, then lead into things that are that color or other things, such as emotions, associated with that color.
What about you?

I totally love the old original style of RB ... I would like to see a reissue which uses the old style just a little pimped(but not older characters or edged trash-style or such a thing) ... computer coloration is fine too ... or a mixture out of traditionell(watercolor background) and more modern art(effects) .
A little summary of the old storyline ( a few pages) and after that new stories ...
New additional colour kids and new villains should be included step by step !
For each colour a fantastic concept-chapter ! :-)
One page text and then one page of art .... rotative ! :-D

Ah so you'd want something like the Treasury book, just a bit more. Like a volume set collection of Rainbow Brite stories with great art!Tom-sprite wrote:I totally love the old original style of RB ...
