I'm not so sure about the delay. The January timeline came straight from Playmates, so I would believe that over a third party article.

Back when they re-launched Polly Pocket in 2001 Mattel mentions having "webisodes". Even look at the offical Polly Pocket site

The use of flash and such is much the same.

Now we have movies like "Polly World" which give Polly Pocket her own animated movie outside of flash.

I nearly forgot.... American Greetings toons
Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, and Holly Hobbie have had the same treatment in the past few years.

Hasbro webisodes for MLP weren't animated in flash, though. At least not entirely. Flash is just what they used to embed the video on the site.

You do have to admit that the animation quality on the MLP webisodes is a LOT higher than the RB episodes.

Also I do have to say that I'm not outright opposed to animating in Flash, just that it can be done a LOT better than what we've seen.

And by the offchance that the MLP webisodes were made in Flash (which is a possibility I suppose) it only serves to demonstrate my point further.

For another example, here is another animation I know to be done completely in Flash. http://unknown-person.deviantart.com/ar ... d-71991600 This is just one guy doing it for fun, not some big-time company. I would take that over what we have any day (if you can look past the voice acting, but like I said it doesn't have huge financial backing and I think all the actors volunteered).

Now I'm curious. Has there been any mention of when new webisodes premier or how often they will? Are we talking weekly? Monthly?
