Not al all. There's nothing mean about Mood Indigo (look it up and then listen to it) or any of the others except possibly Red Butthead. And I'm not aware of any other nicknames they have.

Only one that comes to mind for me is "Indi-glo"...but that is because I have an "Indiglo" face on my wrist watch.

I have a small battery powered travel alarm clock that has that same dark blue lighting for the LCD and it's also called Indi-Glo or Indiglo. I'll have to dig it out of its hiding place and check the correct spelling but it's similar to what you mentioned.
