Rainbow Brite The Cereal

Post by bengals55 »

Ha! My sister used to get it and I loved it. I was big into Fruity Pebbles, but I also loved Lucky Charms. Rainbow Brite cereal was kinda like both combined IIRC. Fruity with marshmallows... been a while, but I think I remember right.

You weren't kidding, I see.

I liked the Strawberry Shortcake cereal. Hope I don't get flamed for that.

I was never a strawberry type guy. I did like Count Chocula and Booberry though.

You're not gonna get flamed. Just because this is a rainbow brite forum doesn't mean cartoons made by a competitive company can't be liked or talked about. Besides flaming is for rude people, and this forum is full of nice people. :)

Anyways I wasn't alive when this cereal was made, unfortunately.

Both Strawberry Shortcake (produced by General Mills) and Rainbow Brite (produced by Ralston cerials of Ralston-Purina) came out in the 80's eventhough I never had any of them.

I wasn't born when it was around, but I've seen the commercial for it on youtube and that's rather amusing :)
