Do RB dolls come in 3 different sizes?

Hello,

I was wondering if there are Rainbow Brite and color kids dolls who come in more sizes than just 10" and 18"? I have found a medium sized Patty doll today at the vendor's mall. It's 1983 and in perfect condition besides a little dirt on her face.

I had a medium size RB herself doll, but never found medium sized color kids.

It sounds like one of the 16" Emotions dolls - there's an RB, Red, Patty and Canary.

Don't be fooled by (C) 1983 on any Rainbow Brite product. That's the year the designs and names were registered and has nothing to do with the manufacturing date. A number of the Gen 3 dolls have this date as well even though they were made from 2003 to 2005.

Look at the tag. Does it say Mattel? Does it say Emotions? Does it say Toy Play or anything else? Also look on the back of the doll's neck and see what's written there.

Did you buy it? I only have the Patty doll of Emotions and I LOVE her. She is way cute. I probably like her more than the smaller and bigger dolls.

and yep i bought it. Forgive my ignorance about this, but are the originals made by Mattel?

Vintage dolls have white tags, new dolls have orange ones.
