This was extremely well-written. Thank you for posting it!
Without the reboot, I wouldn't have been reminded to come back to this website and remember how much Rainbow Brite meant to me. I'm very thankful that Rainbow Brite is staying in people's minds.

New Rainbow Brite Cartoon!
I like it too :) It's SO cute, and we can already see that it's incorporating many elements from the original show, so they definitely kept us in mind when creating it (even if we're not the target audience). As far as the Color Kids go...watch this 15 second promo ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

I know nothing about this network it's going to be airing on, though. Will it be available to watch on youtube? Anyone have any information about that?

New Rainbow Brite Cartoon!
As soon as I saw it I rushed here to see if anyone had posted the vid yet. I like it! It's different than the old 'toon, of course, but I like the attitude already from this brief little clip. I hope that all the old color kids come back eventually.
I also hope for tons of dolls.

Finally got the last Gen 3 sprite I needed!
Congratulations! I had no idea IQ was a tough find. I remember getting him when they first came out because it was FINALLY something that wasn't red, yellow, green or Twink.

Who won the MIB hard body Starlite?
Thanks!
I've always collected things unboxed, because I just don't have the space and I love playing with my dolls too much. It may be a cardinal sin, but I bought a Sunriser boxed and promptly opened it up.

Oh, holy wow. And that's the last piece I need to finish my doll collection.
Good thing I collect unboxed, but jeez.
Wow.

No, the adhesion on them is really good. Cel-vinyl paints are what the professionals use for prototype painting in the action figure industry. If you thin them a bit with water, they also last a good long time, helping to offset the cost. You can also aid in paint adhesion by cleaning the vinyl befo...

These are the Cel-Vinyl paints
Like I said, pricey but very worth it. They also can be mixed with water to a thinner consistency without losing any opacity.
They're technically not acrylic paints at all, but vinyl-based instead.
