Rainbow brite snuggie

Any chance of me paying someone to get one for me? They aren't in the Spencer's stores here in Canada and the only one on eBay is selling for $50. :(

Questions about 1983 11" dolls...

oh how disappointing. It looks like the one you got was run over by a truck! I've never seen one MIB and marked up like that before. Can't be common, I wouldn't think?

Rainbow Brite Snuggie

I wish I could find one of these, I think they are so fun! None of the Spencer's stores where I live have them. They only have Ninja Turtles and Sponge Bob ones. :(

Questions about 1983 11" dolls...

I'm not sure about that either, I have two Red Butlers and one has sneakers and the other has all red boots. I wonder if it depended on the manufacturer, or if that is the difference between the Mattel and the Emotions dolls? Hopefully someone else on here does know! :)

Can I be totally late to the party and just say that your girls are adorable! You did a great job on the costumes, and cheap too! That's always a bonus :)

what's a reasonable price when buying?

I think a big thing about it too is how bad someone wants it right at that moment. Even just having watched a lot of dolls the past week or two proves that they do show up, that the one you might be looking for * will * show up again eventually. And sometimes a lot sooner than you were expecting! I ...

Rainbow Brite and the Color Kids Invade DragonCon!

Those are some fun costumes, it's interesting to see what different styles of Rainbow Brite costumes people come up with. :)

what's a reasonable price when buying?

Thank you everyone for the advice. I actually got lucky and a local woman was selling a box of used RB dolls for $10. Turns out they were Mattel tag ones and now I have Rainbow Brite, Patty O'Green, Red Butler and Canary Yellow. Outfits are complete although Rainbow's is missing the decal, and they ...

what's a reasonable price when buying?

I am new to collecting Rainbow Brite dolls, but I know with other dolls out there I collect (Pullips, Blythe, BJDs, etc) there are basic "going rates" and then there are the eBay gougers. For example, is it reasonable to pay $300 for a MIB Tickled Pink? Is OOB but complete reasonable at $175? For an...
