That's a good one, a lot better than the ones asking for random letters and numbers.
I'm not sure that captchas are effective at preventing spammers, hackers, etc. I'm an admin on another board. You have to enter one of these to create an account. Spambots have no problems doing this and there's hardly a day when one or more of them create new accounts for me to delete. For my money, it's a security blanket. It makes you think that the site is actively trying to keep these people out but in reality it doesn't keep out anyone.
