Possible Forum Downtime ...

My webhost provider emailed today to inform me that they are moving their servers from Texas to a new server park in Washington. The change is supposed to happen as seamless as possible and the main work is being carried out during weekends. So if the message boards and website go offline for a while then don't panic, it's only because they're moving our stuff around

I am moving tomorrow morning and won't have internet for a while, but I'll try to pick up a wifi card for my pc so I can use the wireless connection in the house. Until then, see you later!

My webhost provider seems to be in the process of moving servers right now, their support site and my FTP are offline and the forums might disappear for a few hours as well during the weekend, so keep that in mind when writing up your posts!

Let's hope for a swift move! (from texas to washington)

The server has been moved and all is working fine again. I must say my webhost provider has done an impressive job there, oh and it didn't even take them 20 seconds to respond to my email!!!

Everything seems to be fine now... glad I didn't have to experience any down time! Was the weekend downtime-free or did I just miss it?

The files were moved onto a new server before the old one was shut down, that way there was no "downtime" noticeable and the switch went near seamless.
